70 cubic metres, and straight into the paddock.
The first Stewart Tetrads to arrive are already working alongside a chopper in real Australian harvest conditions.
There’s no better way to introduce new machinery than to see it doing the job it was brought here for. The first Stewart Tetrads to arrive in Australia have gone straight to work in the paddock near Dalby, Qld with A Cut Above Silage & Contracting.
A trailer this big deserves to be seen doing the job!
The first Stewart Tetrad in Australia has gone straight to work alongside the chopper under Shane and Briana Gamble's watchful direction. As the crop comes off, the Tetrad is right in the action: being loaded, moving through the field and carrying silage on a scale that’s hard to miss.
With silage sides fitted, the Tetrad holds up to 70m³. It’s rated to carry 35,000kg, giving contractors and large-scale farming operations the capacity to move more material with every load.
That huge body is backed by serious running gear: four heavy-duty 150mm BPW axles, with steering on both the front and rear. Buyers can choose air or steel suspension to suit their operation. When it’s time to unload, a single seven-stage hydraulic tipping ram and hydraulic rear door are ready for the job.
For the road, the fast-tow setup includes air braking, ABS and a load-sensing valve. A heavy-duty 6-tonne K80 spoon hitch and sprung drawbar complete a trailer built for demanding silage work.

The first Australian paddock run is a milestone for Stewart and Armour Group, and a chance for farmers to see the flagship Tetrad at work in real conditions. This isn’t a small trailer with a big claim. It’s 70 cubic metres of silage capacity, backed by heavy-duty engineering and ready for serious harvest operations.
The first Stewart Tetrad is here. And it’s already earning its keep.
